I lived in San Antonio for almost a year (2010-11) and I've never had asthma and allergies as bad as I did there

+John Gagnon, yes I've looked at the BLS rankings, but I think what you meant to say is that Nevada has the 11th worst unemployment rate of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, so I'm not sure I would use the term "good enough" LOL...having said that, I misspoke when I said unemployment rate because that only counts the number of people who are out of work and who qualify for UI benefits. In fact Florida shouldn't even be counted in that category at all, because ITS unemployment system is by far the WORST of all 50 states. In Florida you can only receive UI benefits for up to 14 weeks (every other state allows at least 26 weeks, and a few allow 30) in addition to the fact that they cap your weekly checks at $275 (far below the national average)...but don't get me started. I lived in Florida and hated hated hated it. But I have a hunch you feel the same :)

9:06 Fargo-Winnipeg is almost exactly the same distance as Fargo-Minneapolis (both about 230 miles). However, the trip to Winnipeg will take MUCH longer than to Minneapolis, for two reasons: 1) traffic backups and formalities at the Canadian border, and 2) the speed limits along the Canadian portion of the route are much lower than in ND because there is no elevated highway directly from Emerson to Winnipeg, and there are several towns along the route which you have to mosey through. I've driven between Fargo and Winnipeg five times, and between Fargo and Minneapolis at least twenty times.

Tommy Truth I don't understand why people would water their lawns in places like Houston, there's plenty of rain and humidity there

I used to work at O'Hare, and have walked every inch of the airport. It is large, but is well-marked by signage. People who get lost just don't read signs, it's as simple as that.

+spacekoalalove I lived for a year in Phoenix and one thing I will say about Vegas is that it has a lot more diversity than Phoenix does especially with regards to its cuisine options, so I think you're right on that point

The food in Texas is too good...I gained 15 pounds during the 8 months that I lived there (and I was still exercising and walking religiously even though most Texas cities are not very pedestrian-friendly)

@foreveryactionthereisacons1683 Fargo is a nice place to live and work, not so much a nice place to play.

Don’t respond Philly does suck but it’s not nearly as overcrowded as O’Hare

Tommy Truth you got that right...I lived in San Antonio and my allergies and asthma were terrible there...but Houston is even worse because of the humidity and pollution...Houston is a very "indoors" type of city

AinokeatoProductions I'm sure there are positives to living in Las Vegas, but the job market is not one of them. Nevada consistently has some of the highest unemployment levels of all 50 states, and had the highest the foreclosure rate after the 2008 financial crisis. So, on this point the poster is correct.
