I worked with a woman like this years ago (2001). She had been here since ‘87-‘88, and spoke NO ENGLISH. When I pressed her on why, she had more excuses than a pregnant nun. She even said that she had been hospitalized with knee surgery, and I’m like ”So you couldn’t study from your hospital bed?!” Don’t let these people fool you - it’s pure laziness. You seem puzzled by this, but the answer is clear as crystal. Filing for naturalization would've required her to demonstrate knowledge of English as well as American civics and history. She has already proven she was too lazy to do either.

@Ohwowamazing Oh we blame the enablers too, don't you worry. But even though this woman has never been legally required to learn English, she should have done so of her own volition. It would've shown diligence and ambition on her part. Instead she was content to just live like a leech off the system, and Leftists calling you "rathist" for questioning this.

@stkyfngrszmooth this is why we need English as a national language. We need to REQUIRE everyone living in this country to know at least basic English. Nothing unifies people more than language. You can't unite people and bridge cultures without language. The Liberals want this country to remain divided by allowing people to enter and/or live in the country illegally and never assimilate.
