Businesses like mine have a policy of allowing maskless customers to use self-checkout. Legally we have the right to trespass anybody from the store (any store is technically private property) but the company has decided not to.

@blacksheep6365 that is crap. Those doors have locks on them. At night, they lock the doors and you can't get in. If the business decides to go out of business tomorrow, the doors stay locked and you can't get in. The only reason you're allowed in is because the business has merchandise for sale which serves as an invitation to enter. But they don't have to serve you, you're not entitled to their business and they are not entitled to your money.

@blacksheep6365 you obviously have some very strong anti-government views. Well you're more than welcome to go off the grid and live in Alaska (no income or sales tax there either) and live off the land similar to what Heimo Korth does.

@blacksheep6365 so what do you think the role of government should be? Because you clearly have some strong opinions but you're being rather vague. What are you okay with government funding versus not funding? Some examples? (...you don't have to list everything, just a small list)

@blacksheep6365 well then you can go and live in a place like New Hampshire which has no state income tax or state sales tax. And as a result, property taxes (which pay for public schools) are the highest in the nation and many communities have no trash pick-up (you're responsible for driving the 5-10 miles every week to haul your trash to the nearest public landfill) or public sewer system, which means you're on your own to install and maintain a septic tank and pay some dude to empty it out (Uncle Eddie style).

@lumav7440 nor discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc., I KNOW THAT. But who said anything about a customer being discriminated against along those lines? Businesses can't say to a customer "We don't serve people of your skin color" , they just have to say "We won't serve you because you're being loud and disruptive" and that's the end of that. At that point the customer is trespassing.

@blacksheep6365 what you refer to as "worshipping government" is actually called "obeying the law" and "respecting other people's property".

@blacksheep6365 how else do you think the roads you drive on get paid for? If you don’t want to pay taxes then we could start building toll roads everywhere but then folks like you would start complaining about why they have to pay tolls.
