  1. A family member can request a gate pass to escort a elderly/disabled passenger all the way to the gate and can remain with them until boarding, however they’re not allowed in the jet bridge. The airline and/or its designated contractor must bring the passenger down the jet bridge to the door of the plane and escort them to their seat if necessary.

  2.  @shepardbook  I know that. I've worked for one of those contractors. But they're not employed "by the airport". There's no such thing as being employed "by the airport".
