Ohhh you’d be wrong about that. Apparently you’re not familiar with the latest trend among parents to use shopping malls as a sort of free daycare center for their teenybopper kids.

@FRANCISPOLLARD-r3p yup, that’s what it’s come down to. This is also why we’re seeing a lot of cases of unruly behavior by adolescents in malls - because their parents are nowhere around. They just drop them off and leave em there.

@floridaroadways pretty much. So they need to start banning unsupervised children from malls. It’s for the children’s protection too, as cases like this one illustrate.

I'm so sick of absentee parents. The mall is not a daycare center, people. If you need to get your kids out of the house, sign them up for athletics or Eagle Scouts or something.

@donovanwalkerjr the thing about athletics (in addition to teaching kids the value of teamwork and giving them a hobby) is that they allow kids to burn off whatever excess energy they have. So they come home from practice/games, finish their homework and they go to bed. They have no energy to go out and start trouble.
