I can’t remember the last time a news story made me this angry.

Five things I absolutely DON’T want to hear: 1.) Either of these girls saying they’re sorry 2.) Their lawyer(s) talking about how young they are 3.) Their assistant principal/coach/neighbor saying they’re “good kids” who have never caused trouble 4.) Any of their family members saying they don’t deserve to go to jail 5.) Some CNN-hired psychologist saying these two girls’ brains are not fully developed enough to be able to understand the repercussions of their actions

At this point I don't even want to hear the word "sorry" from the mouths of either the girls or their lawyer. The time to be sorry was when you climbed out of the car and saw the man you murdered laying there on the sidewalk in a crumpled heap. It would be an insult to everyone's intelligence to even claim that.
11
@K Siepert also there are a bunch of idiots out there trying to defend the girls by saying he should’ve let go of the car. But eyewitnesses stated that his foot was wedged between the seat and the floorboard, so he could not free himself and was helpless. To me that makes an already heinous crime even worse.

Washington DC should be boycotted for failing to pursue justice and failing to hold these two maggots accountable
8
@mackl8305 wrong. They’re getting a plea bargain and will get a slap on the wrist.
8
@gregorypeek9314 I’m sorry but I’m not hearing much of an outcry over this at all, at least not from the media. The despicable CNN actually referred to this as an “accident”.
6
@Drex... and carjacking is a crime that can be prosecuted at the federal level. Why won’t federal authorities act?
5
@madadisr CNN revolts me
4
Will you knock it off! How could he have had any idea they would accelerate with him still clinging to the car for dear life. You the armchair expert with your 20/20 hindsight.
3
@K Siepert definitely. The girls and their lawyer would probably try to argue that the car was out of control when they first accelerated, but there’s no doubt in my mind that they swerved intentionally to try and crush him.
3
@K Siepert I thought carjacking was a federal offense. Why can’t this crime be prosecuted at the federal level? Especially since it occurred in the District of Columbia.
3
@nessie1668 agreed, if only we went after thieves and punks like these two with the same vigor we pursue people who are late paying their taxes.
3
@azhe28 Sickening. Disgusting.
3
@mackl8305 apparently they reached some type of plea bargain. The younger girl (who just turned 14) pleaded guilty to second-degree murder while the older girl (who is 15, and was the one behind the wheel when Mr Anwar was crushed against a concrete barrier) pleaded guilty to felony murder. They were both sentenced to juvenile detention until their 21st birthdays, and the armed carjacking charges were dropped. I can’t blame the judge (he imposed the maximum allowable sentence), instead I blame our laws.
3
@yawofori1464 someone else posted what they suspect to be a motive. Reportedly there are gangs in large cities who recruit and pay young adolescents to steal cars. They target juveniles because they know the courts will go very light on them in the event they are caught. Which is exactly what happened here - these two girls committed murder and they are getting off with a slap on the wrist. Look for this crime to continue increasing.
2
They already ARE blaming him. I’ve read the police report. It says the girls tried to blame the driver for stealing (or driving off with) one of the girls’ cell phones. The man had just been Tased and was trying to protect his property and escape, and they’re accusing him of stealing their phone? Outrageous.
2
@Deus_Vult369 Floyd had good reason to want to avoid being arrested. He had two priors from when he lived in Texas and he moved to Minnesota to avoid Texas’ three-strikes law.
2
Say their names
2
@doyltruddy902 so you’re another one of the nitwits saying “he should’ve let go of the car”. You might want to do a little research before commenting next time. Mr Anwar had his foot trapped between the seat and the floorboard, and could not free himself once the car accelerated. He was helpless.
2
@mackl8305 the 13 year-old (who just turned 14 prior to her sentencing) was given 7 years of juvenile detention. Light slap on the wrist.
2
I spent so much time being angry with the two girls that now I am finally starting to direct my anger to the other idiots in this video.
2
Neillan do you have the link to the CNN story saying it was an “accident”? I want to write a letter of complaint to them. Actually I’m having trouble finding this story in the mainstream media (probably not surprisingly).
1
@manofsan agreed 100%
1
@bfettrulez6734 by the end of the week we’re all gonna have to listen to these girls’ parents, neighbors and school principal talking about how they’re such “good kids” who have never caused no trouble. Just wait and see.
1
@kevvopeel9753 but they’re not white. They’re Black, and lo and behold you’re the one trying to defend them by saying “they’re just kids” who made a “mistake”.
1
@bobbyjoe8900 they’re good girls, they never gave anybody no trouble. We all make mistakes in life...it was just an unfortunate accident...no need to ruin the lives of these young girls...they’re sorry for what they did...it won’t happen again, now Judge can you please give my client her phone back.
1
"Their reactions would probably be different if the young girls were of a different race and the victim was black." YOUR reaction would probably be different if the victim had been someone you loved. Shut up and get the hell out of here.
1
@Tokio B. oh man, I’ll lose my mind if that happens
1
@j_freed sounds good, get to work on that meme
1
Because CNN: 🙉🙈
1
@badbanana0 but you know...you just KNOW that if these girls are brought up on charges, they and/or their lawyers are gonna stand up in front of the judge and say how sorry they (the girls) are about the whole thing. How they’ve taken the time to think and how they now realize how sorry they are (at the same time they will avoid admitting any fault, which is not the same thing as expressing regret).
1
@K Siepert the first time or the second time?
1
They’ve offered them plea deals! Outrageous!
1
@madadisr can you believe my previous comment got removed. Apparently because some Leftist snowflake doesn’t like to face reality.
1
@madadisr if you look at any comments section, the comments from Liberals get moved to the front of the line while conservatives either have their comments suppressed or deleted
1
@Randolf.Redbeard Jesus Jones, nobody said they should be expected to perform open heart surgery on the poor man but at the very least they could’ve checked on him and encouraged him by talking to him (either of those things would be far better than ignoring him while you look for your stupid phone).
1
Oh no question, they hit the pole to try to injure or kill him and to get him off the car. When that didn't work they were probably trying to hit something else after they rounded the corner, and that is what caused them to lose control and roll over.
