I remember a similar incident happened in Massachusetts about ten years ago. A 16 year-old boy from North Carolina climbed into the wheel well of a plane flying from Charlotte to Boston. On approach into Boston, the pilots lowered the landing gear and the boy's frozen body fell from 3000 feet and landed right on the front lawn of a home in Milton, MA. There's no excuse for why this type of thing continues to happen.

You'll all be bemused to hear that the parents of the boy actually tried suing the city of Charlotte, the Charlotte-Douglas Airport and the airline (US Airways) for negligence in their son's death. Fortunately, a judge threw out their lawsuit.

@jdos5643 the boy's name was Delvonte Tisdale. The incident happened in November 2010.

@mc1993 I’ll never understand the criteria by which they censor comments. But I wouldn’t sweat it. I typed his name and they didn’t delete it.

@tommas2674 well no. It would be like someone in street clothes teleporting themselves to the summit of Mount Everest and sitting there for a few hours, trying not to asphyxiate, suffocate or freeze to death.
