  2.  @OompaLoompa74 you’re right, he was exiting. But I’ll bet you any amount of money he didn’t pay his fare to enter. As far as the relevancy, I’m convinced that fare evaders are FAR more likely than other passengers to commit crimes on the trains, so they should be barring people who don’t pay as a way to keep the system safer.

  3.  @TasteTestTitan  lol, ahhh I see what you mean. Well I live in the city and I am a frequent rider of the L trains. I ride the Red Line, Blue Line and Yellow Line (as I work three days a week in Skokie). The Yellow Line is fine but the Red and Blue have a lot of problems with people smoking, using marijuana, as well as homeless squatting and occupying rows of seats. Also people blasting loud music sometimes.

  4.  @OompaLoompa74  please don’t misunderstand me. This doesn’t mean that all fare evaders have violent tendencies. I believe in the theory of recidivism which means that someone who is a prior offender will likely repeat, and smaller offenses tend to lead to larger ones.

  8.  @TasteTestTitan  how do you enforce it? The same way that they enforce it in countries like Singapore and Japan. There’s a reason why Singapore doesn’t have any crime, or rampant fare evasion like in New Jack City. But since you’ve obviously never heard of any foreign country other than Canada or Mexico, you wouldn’t understand anyway.
