  8.  @Waywardfolk  no it’s just people who make statements that are false , inaccurate and/or ignorant and lack the courage to own up to it when someone else calls them out on it. Unfortunately the anonymity of the Internet enables this sort of behavior. It has nothing to do with them being thousands of miles away or “having better things to do”. The Internet just allows them to make their ridiculous claims and then hide. Do people always respond when a reporter confronts them with a TV camera and a microphone? No, a lot of them run and hide too. Don’t want to respond, then you don’t have to. We will leave it at that.
