"What about Hillary's emails?" "What about Monica?" "What about Benghazi?" "What about Obama's birth certificate?" "What about JFK and Marilyn Monroe?" --Republicans, the master of Whataboutism

@valuecalc I've tried explaining that to Republicans so many times that I'm blue in the face. Please stop wasting your time. Republicans hear want they WANT to hear, not what was actually SAID.

@elcajondavid1 how about 8 years of claiming the U.S. economy was in the crapper, and then suddenly, the day Donald Trump took the oath of office, changing one's tune and saying that the streets were paved with gold and money was growing off trees? BTW Obama has been out of office almost three years now and yet here are you right-wingers still talking about him.

For the record, there is no solid proof that LBJ ever used the n-word. There are several audio recordings of him (available on YT) in which he uses the word "Negro", a word which was commonly used at that time, but which would be awkward and/or inappropriate today. Speaking in his thick Texas drawl, he pronounces it as "Nigras". LBJ certainly was crude and vulgar but I've seen no hard proof that he used the n-word. Get back to us when you have proof that he did.

@srt10sniper I'm no Liberal. For the record I find Liberals every bit as obnoxious as Conservatives. But I call a spade a spade.

James Brice "high crime cities" --> how about Phoenix and St. Louis? (both cities in solid-red states). Nice try pal.

JJoe stop acting like you're above this behavior. Every time Donald Trump was asked for his tax returns, the response from the Right (or from Trump himself) was ALWAYS "well what about Hillary's e-mails?" . Every. Single. Time.

@gordon3186 signing a bill into law means, by definition, that a President supports it.

I'm just waiting for some Republican to start in on Robert Byrd, or J. William Fulbright. Save your breath Republicans, I watch Fox News, I listen to Limbaugh. I know exactly how you people think.

James Brice nope, sorry! those are REPUBLICAN cities in solid red states! Phoenix “run by Democrats”, are you kidding me?! It’s the most conservative U.S. city I’ve ever been in. Amazing the sheer nonsense you people will spout to fit your narrative.
1
@srt10sniper because I listen to Republicans all the time and they continue to harp about Byrd and Fulbright anytime the issue of racism is brought up

James Brice now you're REALLY grasping at straws. First you bring up cities located in blue states with high levels of violence. Then when I mention crime-infested cities in RED states, you basically say "well no, it's not the state itself that matters, it's at the city level". Just like how Republicans now harp about the economy supposedly being so strong and how it's all because of the President, yet when Bill Clinton was in office and we had a strong economy all the right-wingers were saying it was because of the Republican-controlled Congress and that the White House wielded little or no power over the economy. St. Louis is in Missouri which in the past fort years has voted for a Democratic candidate twice. Arizona only once. Those are both solid-red states. Arizona has some of the most lax/permissive gun laws of any state, yet Phoenix has had high levels of crime over the years and was at one point #1 in adult kidnappings.
