Comments by "Sean" (@sean2015) on "'I knew Titanic submarine imploded on Monday and rescue was a 'charade', says James Cameron" video.
Remember how the media rushed to report that there were "tapping noises" at the bottom of the ocean? The media knew that the submersible had about 4-5 days worth of air and they wanted to milk the story and keep people glued to TV and the internet by giving false hope that the men were alive. Everything that James Cameron says here, the media suppressed it. They knew if people knew that the sub was gone, they would lose interest in the story. Journalism is such a garbage profession.

The submersible's transponder is battery-powered and completely independent of the submersible's electrical system, The electrical systems (comm) and the transponder (tracking) both failed instantly, and at the same time. Based on this, it was obvious that the sub had imploded, and the the fact that the US Navy picked up the underwater sound of an implosion only confirmed this. The media intentionally suppressed and buried these details because they wanted to keep public interest in the story high, by dangling false hope that the men might be alive and stranded at the bottom of the ocean. The media hypothesized that the submersible may have become trapped or entangled within Titanic's debris field. They also spoke at great length about the estimated air supply that the men had in the submersible as well as the conditions they would have to endure (cold temperatures, darkness, lack of food and water). In fact the media actually went so far as to report that "banging noises" were heard on sonar radar, in an apparent (pathetic) attempt to further this narrative. Journalism is such a garbage profession.

@TWW-zk9gw Cameron can find out about the hydrophones picking up the sound of the implosion within a few hours and make his deductions accordingly. And the world's news media couldn't? ...ohhh they could. They just chose to ignore this evidence. Read my other comment. If the media had reported that the sub imploded, people would've quickly lost interest in the story. So the media buried these details and attempted to paint a picture of the men being stranded at the bottom of the ocean.

@earthlyvibes23 you didn't hear about it because the media buried these details. They wanted to milk the story by dangling false hope that the men might be alive and stranded at the bottom of the ocean. They even overstated the men's available air supply inside the submersible to create an artificially high window of survivability. Read my other comments.

@earthlyvibes23 you didn’t hear it because the media suppressed this information in order to preserve their narrative.

@adoatero5129 that’s baloney. The media all knew; they just chose not to report it in order to maintain the suspense and keep ratings up.
