Jorge don't post something unless you can provide a credible source or link, okay? ( "well Sean I heard a rumor..." , "but Sean some other guy posted it" ...no, include a link to a credible news source or keep your mouth shut).

Because I just checked four different sources looking to confirm or deny the claim you just made and I couldn't find a single source that said the FA hit the passenger, either initially or in retaliation. I did however find two articles that said he hit her twice and she suffered bleeding and broken facial bones. So yeah why don't you go and find your source and post it here. I'm waiting.

The incident likely escalated very suddenly and without warning. Everybody has a smartphone these days, but nobody walks around with the recorder running.

Lisa I've worked for American Airlines. They do not serve alcohol on domestic flights nor do they allow one drop of alcohol to be brought on board. As you might expect, the end result of this is people loading up at airport bars before they board.

@danoyze8213 did you see and read my response to your other comment? Maybe the incident happened and escalated too quickly for any of the other passengers to react in time to protect the flight attendant (...did you stop to consider that?) I mean I seriously doubt that the guy told the flight attendant that he was going to count to twenty before hitting her. Maybe there were men who helped subdue the passenger until the flight could land and police could arrest him.
