  1. The pictures I saw showed them traveling to Kiev on a yellow bus trailed by security. I infer from that detail that the Russians knocking out the substations on the electrified railroad meant they could not travel by rail to Kiev as other visitors had in the past. Poland probably does not have a lot of Soviet gauge diesel passenger locomotives.
