lunalee3021 They speak about tendencies, not about women in general. Jordan peterson told that they were trying to statistically predict wokeness. Being a women and having female temper turned out to be predictors. What that actually means is that both being a women and having a female temperament increases the likelyhood that this person is woke. By how much? We have to read his paper to answer this (and to understand statistics). What that doesn't mean is that all women are woke. But now, there is the question: Why would these factors increase the likelyhood of being woke? Both these guys were trying to understand this in the video. They were not judging women, they were trying to do science. To be able to speak more fluently they didn't say "in general" in every sentence. That's why that sounded like generalizing. But don't worry, scientists understand how statistics work. Imagine asking the question, "why tend men to be right wing?" This would be the same type of question, not an attempt to generalize.
