"this restores one's faith in politicians" 2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof. Faith doesn't require proof. If it did, it'd be called Fact. Religion isn't factual at all. It's based off feelings and a ripoff storybook.
