  1. Ya never know. I’ve been working in the great outdoors for 50 years. Never missed a day of work until 7 weeks ago, when I came down with a fever for 10 days. Then something went haywire with my shoulder & certain moves are excruciating. Now I find out that shoulder pain is common in women 40-68 yrs old… something like 80% of us will experience it. My mother had a frozen shoulder for nearly 2 yrs, which is just about average. 3-6 yrs isn’t unheard of. Thankfully a frozen shoulder doesn’t seem to be my issue, & it’s slowly getting better with physical therapy.
