  1. Word on camping toilets: a bucket with a tight fitting lid or an old insulated beverage dispenser with a screw on lid, works just as well. And I’d recommend Feline Pine kitty litter - doesn’t take much - just a scoop, inside a trashcan liner.

  2. I’ve been pet & house sitting, inside a 55 mile radius, since I was 11. I suspect it would be a very difficult position to acquire, without any local connections or references.

  3. 13 years ago I had been house sitting on the other side of the peninsula, & had taken the ferry back to avoid traffic, only to find that the causeway had been shut down. So I pulled over & went to sleep. Couple hours later I got a rude awakening by a cop… I had no idea that it was illegal to sleep inside your own vehicle.
