Totally agree Dino , in a strange way, they live a way we all should. They live of the land, organic farming, minimal energy consumption, pollution and waste, help each other out, don't sitting in their sofas drinking beer and watching Netflix, hard workers , refuse war. I'm not religious, but their approach to life is attractive to me in many ways, would love a beautiful Amish house and a fast horse 🐎.

The federal report estimates that California’s homeless population was at 161,548 people as of January 2020, prior to the pandemic, a 7% increase from 2019. In Los Angeles County, the number jumped 13% over the same time period, to 66,436 by January of 2020.
On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority hosted its first State of Homelessness event with leaders confirming what Californians have all seen — homelessness is surging.
“I believe we have 20,000 more on the streets since the last count,” Andy Bales, president and CEO of the Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row, said Thursday.
This year, LAHSA was forced to cancel its annual homeless count because of the COVID-19 pandemic

@anasibndawood6696 yes that may be true to some extent, but as far as I can read you also have the existence of ikhtilāf, where its on a given issue permits Muslims to choose the interpretation of religious teachings that best suits their own circumstances and causes the least harm. So there is room to chose and take action. There is also the Sufi , love the poems of Rumi, it's very free and spiritual way of living Islam. The ancient path of Sufism, or Tasawwuf as it is known in the Muslim world, is the inward dimension of Islam, essentially Islamic mysticism. Sufi practitioners seek to find the truth of divine love and knowledge through direct personal experience of the Beloved. It is a rapturous, deeply devoted and often arduous path, but one with enormous rewards. Sufism is the way to God via emotions and spirituality rather than through reason, and it celebrates the intimate relationship of the seeker with Allah.
😊🙏🌟

@amron_sf That is true Denmark is always on top on that list, but I would say its based on a false premise. There are plenty of depressed, stressed, alcoholic, sick, unemployed, suicidal people here. Its more like we get top score because its pretty safe, free schools, universities, hospitals, benefits, no wars, democracy and so on. On a fundamental level our base needs are being met which gives a sense of happiness in general. But danish people are not warm and open people unless you start to know them, so it can be a hard and cold place for expats.
