Eu has failed the people of Europe on many levels, a toothless monster 👹

China has provided $ 143 billions in loans to Africa, most of those countries will never be able to pay back. its only a matter of time before the continent will be renamed Chinica.

Very true, but its still strong power and future control. Look at the many billions China has invested in Africa as mining or infrastructure that gives them control over that area. They are not soft as the west that keep pumping billions of free aid money into currupt African regimes or Afghanistan. The chinese are much smarter. I think they have plans of also invest 62 billion $$$$ in Pakistan. That is serious money

Touhidul Islam Abir I just read a long article about it, take Zambia as an example it has announced in november it can no longer pay of its billion of dollars debt. It want debts relief, but China refuse on its part. China wants its money back. The West and its banks dont wanna give Zambia another free pass, because no reforms has been made and no one in sight. But if we said ok Zambia just forget the billions we gave you....WHAT you want more billions.....and some of that money will go to pay of Chinas loans and the country is still fu#%ed. Its like Lebanon, help help, give us billions, but we will not change our super currupt system. Really really sad situation.

@smwk2017 agree and back in the day two Christian monks smuggled silkworms out of China in bamboo canes. Those silkworms were used to give the Byzantine Empire a trade monopoly in Europe, which became the foundation of their economy for the next 650 years. Lot of dirty trick through history, time to hit back. See you on Alibaba ✌

And its hard power too, when you control infrastructure around the world you have some real power over the countries. I think that China has invested over 300 billion dollar in Africa the last 15 years alone. They build roads, buy mines, make railways. Its control over resources and movement.

Touhidul Islam Abir Well yes two different approaches, but China is smart and hardcore, read this " On top of seeking control over Zambian mining assets as debt collateral, China also retains a highly contentious stake in Zambia's national broadcaster, ZNBC. In 2017, Chinese media conglomerate StarTimes funded the rollout of a migration to a new digital TV signal, and now controls 60% of a joint digital venture with ZNBC, called TopStar". So China give loans, but when Zambia or other countries can't pay they just take over the different sectors. Its just brutal reality. I dont have any love for IMF or others like them, but there are many bad and corrupt leaders in Africa that want loans from both east and west because of mismanagement. Those who lose on all this is the ordinary people of Africa. And 2020 has not done any good either. I pray 2021 will be a better year for us all.

@stvdmc2011 No not at all, what I say is that China is taking over important sectors in Africa especially after this crazy 2020 and the years to come. Do the research, read the articles. For me its not good or bad, its just the new reality, life is change, power and control. If China can rule African sectors with succes like railways, telecom, mining etc its win win to me. They are the masters here and I wish them well.
