  1.  @feisaldianga511  agree, but in Lebanon they have run the country totally to the ground over the last decades. In a way it has become a failed state because of the huge debt, horrible national economy, defect political system, currupt justice system, the garbage and electricity problems etc. Its on every level, no reforms has been made. Plus its 2020. I really pray for Lebanon, its the ordinary people who pay the biggest price.

Well I don't have high hopes either for the truth or justice of the blast, but yesterday I read this : " Fadi Sawan, the judge investigating the blast, on Thursday charged Diab, former public works ministers Ghazi Zaeiter and Youssef Fenianos and former finance minister Ali Hassan Khalil, with criminal negligence, a senior judicial source told Al Jazeera. The charges were later confirmed by state media." Who knows if anybody will ever get convicted in the end, but this scandal goes years back and a huge number of people knew about it. Why nobody did anything, well one take on it is that its always great to have access to tons of free bomb material at the harbour, why do something about it 😉??

Solutions proposed by the officials included exporting the 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate, which is used in fertilizer and explosives, or donating it to the Lebanese Army. But the judiciary failed to respond to the letters, the records suggested. The general manager of Beirut port, Hassan Koraytem, confirmed that in an interview on Wednesday, saying that despite repeated requests from customs and security officials, “nothing happened.”

  4. Sad and true, its destruction of a whole nation on soo many levels. All thanks to power hungry men that only think about them self, they have no honour if you ask me.
