@nfspbarrister5681 totally agree, Producer Michael one time broke down the cost of owning and running a big expensive house, I was very surprised how much it was with taxes and staff in California. I follow a youtube dude that moved out of a small flat in Santa Barbara and got an incredible mansion in another state for the same money, because his taxes dropped from 50-60 % to much lower. 😳

@Mach141 well that may be true, but I saw a number say a 10 million dollar house in LA cost you over 70.000 a year in basic taxes alone. Producer Michael was in a like 40 million dollar house when he talked about it, so that tax may be much higher plus you need the staff to clean the house, keep the garden, and serve you. Air condition, power, water and so on. I think the number he came to was a million dollars a year just to keep the house running, then you maybe have your mortgage if you don't pay cash. The expensive art on the wall, insurance and private security measures. It's the same with owning a big yacht or private jet. A private jet cost you between 500.000 to a million a year in operation cost. So you need a good cash flow to live the high life, your wife is not cheap either and maybe you have 3 luxery homes. Could be a stressful lifestyle...or not 😊
