We need revolution in consciousness, because we are still very primitive in our psychology, that's why technology wouldn't save us. Humanity is short sighted, driven by sex, money, power, fear and anger, pleasure and the easy way. Why should I sell my car, stop flying on holiday, become vegan, give money to projects, when 7 billion other humans don't give a damn. I live in a small country that has a lot of green energy now, we recycle and many other things, but does it matter at all ?. I read Nigeria has passed 200 million people in population, UN say they will hit 400 in 2050 and the population will further explode to 800 million in 2100. All these new people want smartphones, cars, computers, houses, holidays by plane, Netflix every night 😑. So let nature do its thing, I see no world leader or humanity that can turn this around.

@sw.7519 Listen I live a very spiritual life in a matter of fact and my footprint on earth is tiny. I meditate every day and can sit blissful in nature. But I still care about the world and it needs practical solutions, that all starts from the mind and the right consciousness. You have to look at realty with open and realistic eyes. There are 1000s of UN reports that say we have to change fast, but we do it very very slow. The last 50 years humanity has killed of 70 % of all wild life on earth, that is insane. 30 % of all forests are also gone. I'm just saying that with every crisis leaders should lead and show the way for humanity, but just look at how 2020 and covid turned out. Let bigger powers take over, we are not mature enough to be stewards of earth.
