@jl63023 1. Many people in the Philippines & Taiwan have moved on from it. It's mainly South Korea & China asking for it. Taiwan is actually an ally of Japan. 2. It would be ironic for the Chinese to ask for reparations when more people died from Mao Zedong alone than the entire existence of the Japanese empire. Not to mention what China did to Mongolia & are currently doing to Tibetans & especially Uyghurs. The worst part is that the Chinese government denies what they're doing to Tibetans & Uyghurs along with the Tiananmen Square massacre yet expect reparations from China when they refuse to apologize for what Mao Zedong did. In fact, the government praises him.

kungfupanda5363 What about China & Serbia? China isn't any better. More people died from Mao Zedong alone than the existence of the Japanese empire. Why can't the Chinese government apologize to Mongolia & Vietnam for the atrocities they did to them? Why can't they apologize for what Mao Zedong did? Why can't they apologize for the Tiananmen Square massacre instead of denying it? Why can't they stop oppressing Tibetans & genociding Uyghurs which still occurs today? As for Serbia, why can't they apologize for their war crimes in the 1990s? They're upset about that Nato bombing when they did worse to Bosnian Muslims? Why do they refuse to apologize for ethnic cleansing Albanians & go as far as to say it didn't when it did & call it a western lie?
