Could it be an idea to put a condition in the contract, that adittional cost can apply if problems arise. with reservation that it is unavoidable, and not negligence But also ask the customer if he wish you to continue iF the bolts break (of course when it is obvious it CAN happen)?? Just airing thoughts. perhaps they can contribute..
