  2. This is unfortunately what Apple has made acceptable within the industry, and is one of the reasons I have opted to not use apple products. Now Microsoft is doing the exact same thing, (to an extent) My hardware is compatible with W11, and have been running W11 since the early days. This has made me reconsider my support to Microsoft. I have experience with Linux, and have been using headless linux servers for different stuff for a long long time. Now is the time to make the switch on my daily desktop. There are a few things I need to sort out, but it should be doable. I do not want to run dual boot. imo, dual boot is bloat. I will find alternatives to microsoft services like onedrive too. They do no longer deserve my support. btw, Love the work you did for Microsoft back in the day.
