  204. I use a older NUC as a VM server, powered by Proxmox. Running a few small VMs like a database, vpn, jumpserver, Valheim and Minecraft game servers, plex, database and local website to view database. plenty powerfull enough for light loads. threw in 32G ram, and a fast nvme.

  241. I was experiencing something similar, but, wake from sleep, powercfg snitched to me what was the culprit. It was a windows update changing config in devicemanager that was waking the pc. I have also experienced static electricity while touching a usbc cable (connected to computer in one end, and nothing in the other end) to wake the computer.

  286. To be honest, No, we don't laugh at american homes. What this basicily is. is a response built up over a long time to the arrogant attitude some americans have. Where they refuse to acknowldege their shortcomings. If we all could be a little bit more humble towards each other, maybe we could learn something from each other. The reason european cars and houses are different, is the attitude towards sharing knowledge, and realise own shortcomings, and learn from them, rather than belittle the opposing part for have a different view than yours. The Overdramatizing with Why Other Countries LAUGH at American [insert thing here]" is a result of adapting to the american attitude when talking to americans, I bet, if you could be a little bit more humble, you would see a totally different side of things. Just like mr. IWrocker here. he is looking into different cultures, and learning stuff. Also, I am learning a different side of americans from him. Americans are good people too. I have befriended some, both still in the US, and some that has moved here. Sorry about the long post. But I had to be a little bit honest here. And it is not as bad as it seems. Now Microsoft is doing the exact same thing, (to an extent) My hardware is compatible with W11, and have been running W11 since the early days. This has made me reconsider my support to Microsoft. I have experience with Linux, and have been using headless linux servers for different stuff for a long long time. Now is the time to make the switch on my daily desktop. There are a few things I need to sort out, but it should be doable. I do not want to run dual boot. imo, dual boot is bloat. I will find alternatives to microsoft services like onedrive too. Fist the changed the compressor, then 2 sensors, then just a recharge, then chased a leak twice, and found a leak in one of the sensors. i suggested the should exchange the 5 sensors at once when they started the job, and had they done that, i believe it would have been fixed during the first apointment.
