A bit childish, I guess, but otherwise the comments section would be awash with bad-faith actors, with everybody else too scared to call out the bullying and misinformation.

More dangerously, if you feel you'll spend 20 years in jail for your crimes (Chump) you are heavily incentivised to do the right thing, and think long term. If you feel you only have 2-10 years on this earth, this incentive is severely weakened.
