@sergeant_salty So you like monopolies. So much for free markets!!! You are exposing the hypocrisy of the right wing.

@sergeant_salty Whatevers, 🤡

@davidallen3873 * Maga Republicans. And willing to tinker with the electoral system for their own gain.

@sergeant_salty Do you love the monopoly on insulin that keeps prices sky high ONLY IN AMERICA?

@sergeant_salty What you meant to say was, if I disagree with you, I'm a sensible guy whose head wasn't filled with shit by the orange guy and his propagandist enablers.

@roughhabit6496 More projection from the right. Is that all you have? 🤡

@slow-adhesiveness-4933 More the opposite, actually. The left tend to be more to the right than in other countries, so more like centrists than full-on socialists. The Overton window has shifted to the right, you seem to think it's the other way.

@chriswatson7965 Right wingers tend to be the bullies in society, or else socially isolated people, easily led and vulnerable: they are not the majority of the young male population, but a small niche. But check out the MAGA rallies, loads of older people there, and I don't buy that they are not out to take the country by force. They are just as fascistic as the Proud Mommies Boys.

@chriswatson7965 OK, 23% is not niche, but still considerably less than liberals, or normies. Using the wrong word there does not make me a bigot! Though I didn't explicitly state it, I was referring to the few youngsters who would like to have a fascist state, as you were talking about. Not conservatives en masse. So yes, small niche fits there. Accept my apologies there, despite your rudeness. I totally agree, a fascist state is possible and should be actively guarded against. I don't think the last for it is quite as mainstream as you make out: though the Fox rhetoric is a definite red flag.

@slow-adhesiveness-4933 I pretty much agree with you 100%. The voter does not have effective levers to give themselves the changes they need/ deserve. On the left that causes disappointment and apathy, on the right, the desire to steal more meaningful power.

Only because bribes dressed up as campaign finance are completely legal. Representatives/ senators having stocks/ shares (vested interests) in the fields they are voting in doesn't help either. I think it was the disingenuously named 'Citizen's United' that the ReThugliCons introduced that made corporate lobbying/ bribes so much easier. It needs to be repealed, stat.

@GenerationX1984 It wouldn't. They are so dumb they believe Dems = socialism = communism = fascism: It's all the same to them, thanks to the Fox droppings they've been swallowing.
