  1. EXACTLY. The cops and prosecutors are accessories to the crime and *obstructing justice*, when they know the DNA doesn't match and yet they still prosecute.

  2. Why aren't the lazy/ incompetent/ corrupt cops and prosecution teams who know the DNA exonerates a suspect ever bought to justice themselves? The team who convicted the New York 5 for example. Surely, to convict the wrong person, and let the guilty stay free, is acting as an accessory: it has to be criminal, and must be punished!!!
