@shlockofgod Someone robbed your brain. Taxes are a necessary "evil". They shouldn't be misspent, sure, but they aren't theft!

@terrystevens3998 Some complicated points there. I think it's best for (reasonable) taxes to subsidise most things. I'd rather bus fares were kept reasonably low via taxation. And in an ideal world, I'd like the mall/ business owners to subsidise the buses they benefit from. But as this would complicate the tax code, most people might argue that it isn't worth the extra bureaucracy... and they might be right. I'm not really against tax codes being complicated though, as more people/ more technology would be employed/bought to enforce them, which is not necessarily a bad thimg. That argument can be made, I'm not sure where I stand on the issue. As usual, the devil is in the detail.
