@trout3685 There's this little thing called a Constitution, with a right to bear arms! Any attempt to bury those rights will be seen as a provocation by the gun-owners (who seem to be hopped up on all kinds of insane conspiracies, and disingenuous PR by gun lobbys), who will take that as an act of treachery by the government, and then make Jan 6th seem like a picnic. How do you not know this? Have you not noticed what Faux News etc, are up to?

@brian8507 That is a problem. You try an amnesty. But better than that, you try to prevent another 300 million irresponsible gun sales in the future. Especially automatic weapons. This is not rocket science!

@brian8507 Nobody mentioned confiscation, except your selfish, air-headed Republican media bobbleheads. That is not on the table. I would not want someone, law enforcement or not, to steal any item of mine, gun or not! That is *not the topic being debated here*. It's preventing guns from getting in the wrong hands. Do you consider yourself irresponsible? If you do, then maybe you shouldn't be allowed to buy more guns or ammo. That's it!
