  1. What matters more: the absolute measurement of the sidewall itself, or the size of the sidewall relative to the overall tire diameter? For instance, you have a sidewall of 4.7" on a 17" wheel, and you have a sidewall of 4.7" on a 21" wheel. The sidewall makes up a greater percentage (36%) of the overall tire diameter on the smaller wheel compared with the larger wheel (31%). Is my thinking correct that this percentage is a more useful metric than the absolute size?
