  3.  @ua697  Ridiculous comment on your part. The EU and western Europe in general have made a point of championing human rights and free speech in years past. Now it seems that the EU is backsliding on their commitment to these ideals. The USSR/Russia has NEVER recognized any human rights, especially free speech. Talking with Putin about it would be a waste of time. Never try to teach a pig to sing; it's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.
