  1. Solar farm in the middle of Nebraska? This particular facility is/was located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The storm in question occurred on June 29, 2023, so they've had plenty of time to accomplish repairs. But I have to question the wisdom of locating this solar farm in the middle of tornado alley, an area that is regularly subject to violent storms. Plus, on average, there are only 224 sunny days per year in Scottsbluff. Maybe they should try someplace in southern New Mexico, where there are nearly 300 sunny days per year. Poor planning, if you ask me.
