  2.  @dashabateman4409  I do not claim to be a Biblical scholar or teacher, but my take on this passage of scripture is thus: People that center their lives around the acquisition of material possessions will be neither happy nor truly secure. Now there is certainly nothing inherently wrong with HAVING material goods, but to make them one's life's ambition, and neglect your spiritual condition is foolhardy. "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." (1 Tim. 6:7) Cheers.
