Because the US$ happens to be the world reserve currency, any inflation here in the States will be exported internationally to any other countries using the US$ (which happens to be nearly all of them). Plus, as the US$ becomes stronger vis-a-vis other currencies, all American exports will likewise become more expensive. Sorry, folks, but there's no escaping inflation. 💸
