Colorado: another sad example of leftist, elitist Californicators moving into, taking over and ruining a once great state.

Just wondering how many criminals, felons or gangsters are going to leave their heat at home for 30 days. Oh, right, probably none. 🙄

"When a government controls both the economic power of individuals and the coercive power of the state...this violates a fundamental rule of happy living: Never let the people with all the money and the people with all the guns be the same people." - P. J. O'Rourke

FBI just shot themselves in the foot (pun intended). Any evidence obtained using a third party’s assistance WITHOUT going through the proper protocol (i.e., issuing a probable cause subpoena to Liberty Safe), would result in said evidence being excluded from any legal proceedings. See Kyles v. Whitley, 514 U.S. 419 (1995). As a practical matter, you might either want to buy a safe second hand (and change the code/combo yourself), or pay a locksmith to do the same if you’re buying a new safe. Would you want someone knowing the security code to your laptop or home burglar system? I think not.

Ha! Most of these “buybacks” look to be old junkers that haven’t been used in decades. Street thugs probably wouldn’t touch them with a 10-foot pole. Just another example of the “feel good” mindset that accomplishes exactly “0”.

Having worked in IT, I can assure everyone that your home modems and/or internet gateway devices most assuredly have back doors installed by the manufacturers (at the government’s insistence, of course). Anytime Big Brother wants into your network, there’s nothing to stop them. Consider a router that lets you run OpenWRT or DD-WRT. These codebases, while not immune to vulnerabilities, are at least open and reduce the risk of backdoors being placed in them. One major modem manufacturer even admits to having a back door in its routers. At least they’re honest about it.🤔
