  1. There is no such thing as “the housing market,” as in an entity that exists uniformly throughout the USA. Rather, there are multiple housing “markets” that reflect the conditions of various regions throughout the country. Thus it’s possible for say Dallas, TX to be booming, while another area like Portland, OR to be slumping. It all goes back to those 3 magical words: location, location, location. Cheers.
