  1. How, pray tell, do you "hold Putin to account" for these war crimes? Are you going to indict him and bring him before the ICC (International Criminal Court at The Hague, Netherlands) like they did with Slobodan Milošević? After all, Putin is a duly elected (?) head of state, and it's highly unlikely that he will simply surrender and turn himself in for trial, right? And it's equally unlikely that his inner circle would stage a coup to accomplish that purpose. Most of his closest confidants would probably have to stand trial also. The only way for Putin to leave the scene is by natural causes (hint, hint) or if he accidentally falls out a window from his Kremlin office. After all, Stalin terrorized Russia and eastern Europe for 30 years, yet no one took him out.
