  1. My 2017 VW Jetta S 1.4L Turbo Sedan cost me ~ $16,000. It averages around 32mpg in combined city/suburban driving, and on a recent road trip it averaged right at 40mpg. So I’m supposed to pay 3 times as much ($48,000) for new technology that MIGHT improve in the future, but right now can barely travel 200 miles without recharging? Shocking!
