  1. MSRP $27,450 (LE model). Cruising range: ~ 640 miles; combined fuel economy: 57 MPG. Hybrid/electric components warranty: 8 years /100,000 miles. NO all-electric vehicle (even at double the price) can even come close to these figures. Too bad Toyota had to compromise on the trunk capacity. But, aside from that one negative, looks like Toyota has another winner in the new Prius.

  3. Also pricier than expected. With the base model starting at $36,995, it's nearly $7,000 more than the Honda Civic Si. Do you really want to pay $37K for a Corolla?
