The top 10 countries with the most Orthodox Christians are, by number: Russia, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Egypt and Georgia. Of these, only two have a fertility rate above 2.1 children per couple--Ethiopia (4.05) and Egypt (3.24). The rest fail to meet the 2.1 children per couple necessary to provide a young enough demographic to ensure population replacement. Bulgaria's fertility rate is only 1.56, although it has improved slightly over the past 20 years, up from 1.2 in the year 2000. Guess you need to import some Christians from Africa. Cheers.
