Although the majority were Irish Nationalists that were interned, don't forget they also interned Loyalists as well. At the time, the biggest threat came from the Irish Nationalists, so they were interned in higher numbers.

There is one small RAF base in Northern Ireland, which is located within Belfast International airport. As for Army camps, only a few remaining. Yes back in the day we had hundreds of locations used by the Military, but these were small, as in could house a dozen troops. Nowadays they are long gone, completely dismantled, and sold off or returned to the local Authorities. Most of the former locations are housing estates etc. As to the illegals being sent here to Northern Ireland, WHY? We are part of the UK, although not on the mainland. You do realise we also have a significant number of gimmegrants illegal or legal? They are also taking over areas in the same way as they do on the mainland. We don't want them either, no point moving a mainland problem to another part of the UK.
