  1. Perhaps they just like to live and get on with people like themselves? I lived in the countryside for years, and all those phobes etc you mentioned, were never subjects I ever heard discussed when I lived there. The main reason I would say was because it simply wasn't an issue. Unlike now I live in a more urban area, where far to many persons of colour reside, so of course it's a subject that is discussed regularly.
