@AnthonyMcCaul-c9g Ok, he didn't mention the actual amount, but, still that was the premise of the film. The point of his video, was more about, for example, why did they make this particular film? I would be confident, that every country involved in the war , had dedicated teams to send mail to the troops fighting. Of course it's a moral boost to receive mail from home. However, why does the film makers, make this out to be some sort of heroic effort by these women? Why this particular group? Why not a film about how our own Postal service, basically served the country, doing the same thing? We know why don't we? A certain demographic were represented in this film, no other reason. That is the point of the video. For me personally, what they done, is nothing special, hardly in the same league as their fellow countrymen storming the beaches on D Day was it?
