  1. Not a perfect system we have in Northern Ireland, but we can't just take our cars to a garage that is MOT approved. We have dedicated MOT Centres, which on the whole are pretty fair, obviously depending on where you go, a mate might do you a favour. But honestly it's a better system, usually county controlled, need to book etc, yes they are still catching up with the backlog of the scam, plus a major problem with the platform lifts, but seriously a better system overall. The chances of your mate working there, who might tip you the nod is slim, for most people.
