  3. I completely agree with you. Tony had the power to build a case against David Lochridge/Scott Griffith (Oceangate) in order the sever their relationship with Dave Dyer of the University of Washington (APL) but wasn't able to put the same energy into proper engineering and insisting on using proper materials (he was only there to "herd the cattle" apparently) . He sounds like an arrogant recent engineering university graduate who thinks they know everything when they graduate but really, they don't know anything at all! I lost it when he said he wouldn't go into the sub because he didn't trust the operations team....he was incapable of taking any responsibility for ANYTHING. I can go on and on...

  4. That is the exact same feeling that I got from hearing all of the testimonies over the two weeks. I feel like Nissen is extremely guilty and pointing his finger at everyone else.

  5.  @solareclipsetimer  you are very defensive of Tony Nissen and are refusing to see that he contributed to the negative culture at Oceangate...coupled with contributing poor engineering! Everyone knows that Stockton was the problem, but the "professionals" that let it happen or encouraged it, are guilty parties to this as well!

It isn't just about being offended by being called the 51st state....it's also about deportations, innocent people/tourists/US citizens being detained and the radical treatment by border agents and ICE. I don't have a "white" last name. I will not set foot into the US because I don't feel safe doing so. I will stay in Canada and spend my money elsewhere.

  22. We should have immigration quotas similar to the US....each country is allotted 7% of the available green cards for both family based and employment based immigrants. Mass immigration from only one country is going to lead to enormous problems!
