@stevewest131 no. No it's not. All the ice cars are still working fine. In fact they run longer and faster than your toy. Because they're actually cars. Not to mention all of the other things that require motors. You might not want to take the brown acid.

@stevewest131 The idea that the US could ever turn its back completely on ICE vehicles is ridiculous. We were literally designed around the gas engine car. We wouldn't be able to survive on electric vehicles alone. The idea is absolutely laughable.

@robertkubrick3738 could you imagine if they actually tried to replace all diesel trucks in the trucking industry with EVS? An EV semi truck can only do two runs a day. An ICE semi can do between 5-10 a day. If we were to be reliant on EVS for shipping we'd be fucked.

@AndyM-s8p They literally are always better. It takes less time to fill them, it's easier to maintain them, and they're lighter on the roads. They're literally always worse than ice vehicles when it comes to performance. You can pretend they're not but you're just lying to yourself.

@paulsimpson8990 do you know how the US ships all of its products? Semi truck. We don't really use trains as much as people like you think. Most of things are shipped on semi truck. And semi trucks cannot run EV. Not efficiently. It's just not possible. But go ahead and hold your breath.

No they didn't. Because those cars that you used to chair still exist. We've got to stop thinking that changing something going forward affects the things from the past. They don't. You could still go buy an old Ford Capri. Just like I can still go watch old Star Wars. The new stuff doesn't destroy what already exists. Stop pretending it does!

Same reason woke Disney is making Star Wars and woke CBS is making Star Trek. Because they want to control the fans of said product. No one would buy this car if it was called something else. And Ford knows that. Just like Disney knows no one would watch their lesbian witches in space show if it wasn't called Star Wars and CBS knows no one would watch sheer fucking hubris if it wasn't called Star Trek.
