The one in my state can. You must live in California. The only state that I know of with rolling brownouts. And the only state pushing for EVS. Don't lump us all in with you. We're not California.

@Luka_3D Yes instead of adding a whole bunch of electric vehicles that run like crap to the electrical grid we'd rather leave it alone. Because it's actually working fine in most places that are not California. I live in Illinois and I have never had an issue with the power because of too much usage. And we run our air conditioning all summer long!

@markchapmon8670 and you can do that because everyone around you isn't doing that. If all of your neighbors were then you'd have a problem. You are right though. This idea that every state has an electrical grid problem without electric vehicles is just wrong. It's only California that has a severe electrical grid issue. And part of that problem is all of the electrical vehicles they have. So if your state starts developing a problem you are it.

@ericrawson2909 you know gasoline is what brought travel to the masses right? It wasn't steam it wasn't solar it wasn't wind it was gasoline. Without it poor people can't travel. In the US mass transit isn't plausible. Where we live is too far away from where we work. If in the US we didn't have cars we wouldn't survive. Our poor would be beyond poor and destitute. The car is what gave the masses travel.

@Acemeistre What it? It would be easier to live when you'd have to do literally everything for your own survival and deal with diseases? I don't think it would. You're not very smart.
1
@Cheeky-fingers which can work well in Europe and in other countries but not so much in the United States. The United States is literally built around the car. If the masses don't have cars we don't have a society. We don't have an economy. We don't have anything. In the US the car is a necessity not a luxury.

@Acemeistre yay they took a bunch of taxpayer money to do... What again?
1
@ripdoff8549 So they're penalizing you by not only stealing your power but forcing you to pay them for it? Why does anyone live in California again?
1
@teekay_1 That was beautifully said!
1
@Acemeistre and you're ignoring everybody else who didn't ignore what you said and why are you doing that? Why aren't you replying to all the people with detailed responses to you? Probably because you can't.

Well since the climate alarmists don't actually care about the climate and they just care about being relevant never. As long as they can use this as a weapon they will. And once they can't use this as a weapon they will move on to the next thing. Because these people don't care about the climate they just care about money. Climate change has been a scientific money grab since the beginning.

All I can say to this is duh. Millions of matchbox cars running off of the electrical grid was going to need a lot more power. There was no way just mild updates to the system we have was ever going to cut it. Just duh.
