This. When it comes to fantasy I don't want realism. I know I don't look like the angels. But I used to be able to pretend. Now I can't. It honestly doesn't matter if they go back. Because that bubble has been popped. The illusion is gone. Now I'm just going to see a bunch of really hot women wearing overpriced lingerie that they could have gotten at Walmart for half price. Gretchen Wilson for the motherfucking win!

@thefaithfulgarden8186 should be right up your alley now. It's not sexy or sexualized at all. Now it's just for every old fat ass body.

Honestly if I ran a company I would literally put out an advertisement about how all I'm doing is making the product and selling it. That's it. I don't care about your race I don't care about your sexual orientation I don't care about your religion I don't care about your abortion status! I care about green. As long as you have green you're my buddy!

@TheOzz242 if that were true these corporations wouldn't be losing millions and millions of dollars now would they? No. No they wouldn't. I think it's people like you who are telling these companies how to make money.

No, it's that they wanted to deliver a body positive message. The moment they put that underwear on a fat chick is the moment I stopped putting it on me. They sold a fantasy not just underwear. If all they're selling is underwear I'll go to Walmart. Walmart sells underwear. Victoria's Secret used to sell the illusion of being an incredibly sexy woman if you wore their underwear. Now I feel like I will be a land whale, a man, or a female soccer player if I put their garments on my body. Victoria's Secret products will never touch my body because of who they chose to advertise using. When you sell a fantasy you never want to pop that bubble because bubbles don't go back together.

@goodfellabeats I disagree. Sure make extra extra large lingerie. But don't advertise it! You advertise the fantasy otherwise your product is no better than anyone else's. If Big Bertha wears it I don't. At least not for twice the price as everybody else.

I for one will not be returning. The bubble has popped. The illusion of Victoria's secrets underwear being any sexier than anyone else is underwear is gone. I'll spend less money thank you very much.

@TheToledoTrumpton are you mitt Romney? Because corporations are not people my friend. They are groups of people. Corporations are made up of people. They are not entities in and of themselves. Do you honestly think Apple is a person that does things separate from the people who run it? Because it's not.

@tamitami9275 no. Investors don't care about ESG. I am an investor. You are an investor. Normal people are investors. I will give you that backers and giant investors make care about that but your average investor does not. You're thinking of donors. Not investors. People who throw money around because it's like water to them. And yes these corporations need that money which is why they're doing this stuff but you've made it sound like literally everyone is forcing these companies to do this when it's not true. Because if it were then Disney's investors wouldn't be suing them now would they? Words matter. Oh and some of them 100% willingly do it. Take a look at Disney. Bob Iger is 100% on the wok train. He claims he's trying to fix the problem while he's doubling down on woke remakes.

@valojj3197 as a man you should probably learn how to use the English language before you use it. Also as a man you should probably not be so ignorant as to lump all women in the same group. If you honestly think we're all that stupid it's probably because you never speak to us because... well... you're you. You couldn't even get last year's Victoria's Secret models to talk to you. Clearly.
